Roanoke Adolescent Health Partnership (RAHP) receives funding from several granting agencies.  The current funding partners and a brief description of the funding program is provided below:

Teen Pregnancy Prevention Project

Roanoke's teen pregnancy prevention project operates four programs: Teen Outreach Program (TOP), For Males Only (FMO), Roanoke Adolescent Health Partnership (RAHP), and Resource Mothers (RM).  TPPP agencies follow a multi-faceted model in their approach to changing behavior. Programs provide education to change the way a person thinks.  Experiential techniques, such as role-playing and decision-making are employed to increase the person's ability to change behavior. Situational influences include promoting awareness in programs of contraceptive services and RAHP and RM provide access to care. Socio-structural contexts are changed via service learning and volunteer opportunities with TOP, ready access to health care with RAHP, family involvement with RM, and social opportunities with FMO and TOP. ROATPPP targets all adolescents, but focuses its projects on those who are high risk for becoming pregnant or causing pregnancy.
